Rincón de la Vieja National Park

Water skin, heart of fire
You will visit from a dry forest to a cloud one in the midst of a volcanic environment on a short journey.
Emanations of boiling mud, boiling water and steam that resonate in the air ... You can witness all this volcanic activity and also can visit a dry forest, one wet, one humid and one cloud in just two hours.
"There are unique experiences that you only can live in this park, like visiting the waterfall La Cangreja (known as the 'Blue Lagoon' due to the characteristic water color), walks through the different environments with stunning ocean views, and the opportunity to witness 'front first row' some of the forming agents of Costa Rican territory, "highlighted Luis Alex Garcia, head of tourism in this National Park.
From Tuesday to Sunday, from 8:00 am to 3:00 pm. This national park is closed on Mondays.
